Savannah State University— once again proved why its homecoming is one of the most anticipated events in the South. This year’s SSU Homecoming Weekend wasn’t just a celebration; it was a powerful reminder of friendship, community, and Tiger pride that continues to live on through generations.

After a weekend that felt like stepping into a time capsule of college nostalgia, students, alumni, and visitors alike are finally settling back into reality. But for many, this wasn’t just another party-filled weekend—it was a reunion. A moment where ten-plus years of friendships reunited under the same orange and blue skies that shaped them.

Savannah State’s timeless motto, “You can get anywhere from here,” came full circle this year. It showed that no matter how far life takes you, you can always return to where it all began and still feel that same sense of love, support, and connection.

Ace Boon: The Unofficial King of SSU Homecoming

Stood out above the rest—Ace Boon. While he sees himself as a committed and humble Alum, focused on making Homecoming fun and affordable for everyone. After this incredible weekend, Di VerZe is officially crowning him the King of Homecoming!!. Ace delivered three back-to-back events that set a new standard for alumni gatherings. From the flawless production to the unmatched energy, everything about these events screamed Savannah State excellence.

A major shoutout also goes to DJ Ray The N’Gineer, who teamed up with Ace Boon to capture every single moment in high-quality visuals. This wasn’t just about recording parties; it was about documenting a living legacy. Together, they created a time capsule filled with the faces, laughter, and memories of people who turned campus kickbacks into lifelong friendships—and even business networks that still thrive today.

Event 1: Sey Hey – The Official Homecoming Kickoff

The weekend started with Sey Hey, featuring DJ Miami, DJ Cat, and Keesh Got The Hits on the 1s and 2s. The crowd built slowly as Tigers from across the country arrived in Savannah, but by nightfall, the venue was packed to capacity. You couldn’t move without seeing a familiar face or hearing an old inside joke come to life again.

This was the kind of energy that defined SSU in its prime—unfiltered, united, and unforgettable. As Trinidad James once said, “Don’t believe me, just watch.” So go ahead—relive the moment yourself: Watch the Sey Hey Recap.

Event 2: Henry St. Bistro – The After Party You Couldn’t Miss

If you missed Sey Hey, you definitely pulled up to Henry St. Bistro, where the after party took things to another level. Hosted by Ace Boon, with DJ Rampage and Keesh Got Hits keeping the dance floor alive, this event felt like the true definition of “deep.” The vibes were lit, and everyone brought that signature Savannah State energy.

From the moment you stepped in, you could feel the pride, the nostalgia, and the unity that makes SSU homecoming more than just a weekend—it’s a movement. Experience it again: Watch the Henry St. Bistro Recap

Event 3: 800 E – R&B Night to Close Out Homecoming

To close out an epic weekend, Ace Boon and K Botchey hosted the much-anticipated R&B Night at 800 E. What started as a smooth night filled with soulful hits turned into one of the most talked-about parties of the weekend. The event gave alumni a chance to unwind and relive the old-school days before the night transformed into a celebration of everything current and vibrant about today’s culture.

Good music, good people, and good energy—it was the perfect way to end SSU’s homecoming weekend. Watch the full recap and feel the nostalgia: Watch the 800 E Recap.

More Than a Party — A Celebration of Legacy

Savannah State University’s 2025 Homecoming was more than just a series of events—it was a reflection of what makes SSU special. Every smile, every hug, and every song played was a reminder that the Savannah State family runs deep. From the fraternities and sororities to the basketball teams, modeling organizations, and proud degree-holders—everyone came back to celebrate where it all began.

This wasn’t just a homecoming. It was a statement. It showed that SSU isn’t just a university—it’s a lifelong community built on love, resilience, and pride.

Looking Ahead: SSU Homecoming 2026

If this year’s celebration was any indication, next year will be even bigger. Ace Boon already has plans in motion for 2026, and based on the energy from this year, you won’t want to miss it.

To all the Tigers near and far—remember, we are the largest network we have. What’s being built here goes far beyond parties; it’s about continuing a legacy of connection, success, and unity.

Mark your calendars now, because time flies—and you don’t want to look back wishing you’d been there.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. See you at SSU Homecoming 2026.
